RT series units are designed to perform the functions of relay protection, automation and signaling of cable and overhead lines, transformers, electric motors and busbars, including with the possibility of shunt – shunt electromagnets disconnecting switches.

Microprocessor units of the RT series are used in relay protection and automation circuits for connections of 6-35 kV substations of electric power companies, industrial and agricultural enterprises, railway and urban electric transport.

RT series units are made in 3 modifications: RT1–RT3, the number and purpose of discrete and analog inputs/outputs depends on the modification of the device. There are LEDs on the front panel to notify the operator about the operating modes and the state of the device. The input of setpoints and the change of operation characteristics is performed using the switches on the front panel.
